Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to common questions about EVVO Network, technology, token, and ecosystem.
General Questions
Basic information about EVVO Network.
What is EVVO Network?
EVVO Network is a Layer 3 blockchain purpose-built for artificial intelligence. Unlike traditional blockchains that operate on fixed rules, EVVO embeds AI directly into the consensus mechanism. The network predicts congestion, optimizes validator selection, and adapts parameters in real-time. This creates infrastructure that learns and improves with every block produced.
What makes EVVO different from other blockchains?
EVVO introduces AI-Orchestrated Consensus, a fundamental shift from static rule-based systems. Key differentiators include:
- AI-driven validator selection based on performance, not just stake
- Predictive parameter adjustment before bottlenecks occur
- Self-optimizing network that improves continuously
- 480,000+ TPS capacity with 0.24 second finality
- Infrastructure designed for AI applications from the ground up
Other blockchains add AI as a feature. EVVO makes AI the foundation.
What is Layer 3?
Layer 3 builds on top of Layer 1 (base chains like Ethereum) and Layer 2 (scaling solutions like Arbitrum). While Layer 1 provides security and decentralization, and Layer 2 provides scalability, Layer 3 provides intelligence. EVVO's Layer 3 adds AI orchestration that makes the entire stack smarter, faster, and more adaptive.
Is EVVO Network live?
EVVO is currently in testnet development. The ERC-20 token ($EVVO) is live on Ethereum mainnet. Public testnet launches soon, with mainnet targeted for Q1 2026. Follow our official channels for launch announcements.
Who is behind EVVO Network?
EVVO is built by a team of blockchain engineers, AI researchers, and distributed systems experts. The team combines experience from major tech companies, DeFi protocols, and academic research institutions. Visit the Team page for more information.
Where can I learn more about EVVO technology?
Comprehensive documentation is available at docs.evvo.network (opens in a new tab). The documentation covers architecture, consensus mechanisms, tokenomics, and developer resources. For quick overviews, explore the Technology section of this website.
Technology Questions
Technical details about EVVO architecture and capabilities.
What is AI-Orchestrated Consensus?
AI-Orchestrated Consensus (AOCL) integrates machine learning directly into the blockchain consensus mechanism. The system works in five stages:
- Telemetry Collection: Nodes report performance metrics continuously
- AI Analysis: Prediction models process data to forecast network conditions
- Dynamic Adjustment: Parameters adapt based on predictions
- Optimized Execution: Consensus proceeds with optimized settings
- Feedback Loop: Results improve future predictions
The AI Forecasting Engine achieves 0.93 confidence score on validator selection predictions. Each block trains the model further, making the network smarter over time.
How fast is EVVO Network?
EVVO achieves:
- 480,000+ transactions per second (TPS) throughput capacity
- 0.24 second block finality (irreversible confirmation)
- Sub-millisecond internal latency for AI operations
This performance comes from parallel execution, dynamic sharding, and AI-optimized consensus timing. Unlike traditional networks that slow down under load, EVVO predicts demand and scales preemptively.
Is EVVO compatible with Ethereum?
Yes. EVVO is EVM-compatible, meaning existing Ethereum smart contracts can deploy on EVVO with minimal modification. Developers familiar with Solidity, Web3.js, and Ethereum tooling can build on EVVO immediately. The network also supports enhanced instruction sets for AI-native applications.
How does validator selection work?
EVVO uses Reinforced Staking Weight (RSW) for validator selection. Unlike pure Proof-of-Stake where selection depends only on tokens staked, RSW incorporates:
- Stake weight (40%): Token stake as baseline
- Historical uptime (20%): Consistent availability increases probability
- Block quality (20%): Clean blocks with few rejections
- Latency performance (10%): Faster response improves selection
- AI confidence (10%): Predicted reliability based on patterns
This creates a validator set optimized for network health, not just wealth concentration.
What is the AI Orchestration Bus?
The AI Orchestration Bus is the intelligence layer connecting all EVVO components. It consists of three systems:
- Prediction Engine: Forecasts network load and optimal configurations
- Policy Controller: Adjusts parameters in real-time based on predictions
- Telemetry Monitor: Collects performance data for continuous learning
The bus processes data from every node, generating recommendations that guide consensus operations. It advises the network without centralizing control.
How does EVVO handle security?
EVVO implements four security layers:
- Quantum-Resistant Cryptography: Lattice-based encryption protects against future quantum threats
- AI Threat Detection: Machine learning identifies attack patterns before exploitation
- Multi-Signature Validation: Critical operations require distributed approval
- Automated Rollback: Detected breaches trigger instant state restoration
Security is not reactive. The AI layer anticipates threats and responds before damage occurs.
What are AI Orchestration Nodes (AIONs)?
AIONs are specialized nodes running the AI prediction models that guide network operations. They ingest telemetry from all nodes, process patterns through trained models, and generate optimization recommendations. AIONs do not control the network—they advise it. Validators receive recommendations but execute independently, maintaining decentralization while benefiting from intelligence.
Is EVVO truly decentralized if it uses AI?
Yes. EVVO's AI layer provides recommendations, not commands. Validators make independent decisions informed by AI predictions. The AI models themselves will progressively decentralize through community-operated AIONs. Intelligence augments decentralization—it does not replace it. No single entity controls the AI, and all predictions are auditable on-chain.
Token Questions
Information about the $EVVO token.
What is the $EVVO token?
$EVVO is the native token of EVVO Network. It serves four primary functions:
- Network Gas: Powers all Layer 3 transactions
- Staking: Secures consensus through validator and delegator staking
- Governance: Enables voting on protocol upgrades and treasury
- Ecosystem Access: Provides access to Wallet, Swap, Bridge, and Staking products
Currently deployed as an ERC-20 token on Ethereum, $EVVO will bridge to native Layer 3 format at mainnet launch.
What is the total supply of $EVVO?
Total supply is permanently fixed at 10,000,000 EVVO. This cap is immutable—no additional tokens can ever be minted. Distribution:
- Liquidity: 50% (5,000,000)
- Staking Rewards: 20% (2,000,000)
- Team: 15% (1,500,000)
- Advisors: 5% (500,000)
- Exchanges: 5% (500,000)
- Reserve: 5% (500,000)
What is the token contract address?
The official EVVO contract address on Ethereum is:
0x0298868365E3327192C07E1dd90c2a874fB73239Always verify this address before transacting. The contract is verified on Etherscan.
Why is there a buy/sell tax?
The current 4%/4% tax funds development and marketing during the pre-mainnet phase. Tax allocation:
- 2% to Development Fund
- 2% to Marketing Fund
This tax will be removed entirely at mainnet launch. Native Layer 3 tokens will have zero transaction tax.
How do I buy $EVVO?
$EVVO is available on Uniswap. Steps:
- Set up a wallet (MetaMask recommended)
- Get ETH for gas and swap
- Connect to app.uniswap.org (opens in a new tab)
- Paste the contract address
- Set slippage to 5-7% (to account for tax)
- Execute swap
Visit the Buy page for detailed instructions.
What happens to my tokens at mainnet?
Your ERC-20 tokens remain valid. At mainnet, you can optionally bridge them to native Layer 3 format using the EVVO Bridge. Benefits of bridging:
- Zero transaction tax
- Full gas utility
- Staking capability
- Governance participation
Bridging is optional but recommended for full functionality.
Is the token contract audited?
The contract is verified on Etherscan with public source code. Comprehensive third-party audits are scheduled as part of testnet development. Audit results will be published on the documentation site.
Will there be more tokens created?
No. The 10,000,000 total supply is permanently fixed. The smart contract has no minting function. No inflation. No surprise dilution. Supply is immutable.
Staking Questions
Information about staking rewards and participation.
When can I stake $EVVO?
Staking activates at mainnet launch, targeted for Q1 2026. Testnet will include simulated staking for testing purposes, but real rewards begin with mainnet. Follow official channels for staking launch announcements.
What are the staking options?
EVVO offers four staking tiers:
Longer commitments earn higher rewards and increased governance voting power.
What is the difference between validators and delegators?
Validators run network nodes, produce blocks, and directly secure consensus. They require technical setup and minimum stake (10,000 EVVO). Validators earn higher rewards but bear operational responsibility.
Delegators stake tokens through validators without running infrastructure. They share validator rewards proportionally. Delegation is simpler but yields slightly lower returns after validator commission.
What are the hardware requirements for validators?
Recommended validator specifications:
- CPU
- 16-Core
- RAM
- 32 GB
- Storage
- 1 TB NVMe SSD
- Bandwidth
- 1 Gbps
- Minimum Stake
- 10,000 EVVO
Validators must maintain 95%+ uptime to avoid penalties and maximize rewards.
Where do staking rewards come from?
Rewards come from two sources:
- Staking Allocation: 2,000,000 EVVO (20% of supply) reserved for staking rewards, distributed over network lifetime
- Transaction Fees: Portion of network fees distributed to stakers based on participation
Early stakers benefit from higher initial emission rates.
Can I unstake early?
Flexible staking allows unstaking anytime. Locked tiers (Core, Growth, Apex) have early unstake penalties—typically forfeiting 50% of earned rewards. The locked tokens return fully; only rewards are penalized.
Does staking affect my voting power?
Yes. Staked tokens receive governance voting multipliers:
Longer stake commitments amplify your voice in governance.
Governance Questions
Information about protocol governance and voting.
How does EVVO governance work?
EVVO implements on-chain governance where token holders vote on protocol decisions. The process:
- Discussion: Ideas surface in community channels
- Proposal: Qualified holders submit formal proposals
- Review: 3-day period for community examination
- Voting: 5-day voting period
- Execution: Approved proposals execute after 48-hour timelock
All governance actions are transparent and recorded on-chain.
What can governance change?
Governance controls:
- Protocol parameters (fees, limits, thresholds)
- Protocol upgrades (new features, improvements)
- Treasury allocation (grants, partnerships)
- Security responses (emergency actions)
- Ecosystem programs (incentives, bounties)
Some elements are protected and cannot change: total supply, core security model, basic token holder rights.
How many tokens do I need to create a proposal?
Proposal threshold is 10,000 EVVO (0.1% of total supply). Proposers must hold tokens for at least 7 days before submission. This prevents spam while keeping governance accessible.
What is quorum?
Quorum is the minimum participation required for valid votes. Standard proposals require 4% of total supply participating. Emergency actions require 10%. If quorum is not met, the proposal fails regardless of vote ratio.
Can I delegate my voting power?
Vote delegation is planned for post-mainnet implementation. When active, you will be able to assign voting power to trusted community members who vote on your behalf. You retain token ownership and can override or revoke delegation anytime.
When does governance activate?
Limited governance operates during the pre-mainnet phase via snapshot voting. Full on-chain governance activates at mainnet launch. Governance power progressively decentralizes from founding team to community over 24 months.
